Since 2008, the children at InsightKIDs have been completing mind-maps each week in preparation for our attempt to create Malaysia’s Largest Banner of Mind-Maps, an achievement that will be featured in the Malaysia Book of Records. This challenge aims to inspire our students to believe in themselves whilst building memory, teamwork and compassion. Each student’s name will also be featured on the mind-map, which will develop a sense of pride and achievement in their efforts. The commencement of this project was officiated by Malaysia’s Deputy Minister of Education, YB Dr IR Wee Ka Siong, and we expect ministers from the department to join us at the end of this journey. This event will also be covered by press.

At InsightKIDs, children are exposed to programs that cultivate and enhance their true potential, as well as help them develop into all-rounded individuals. As part of enhancing their social and emotional intelligence, we have been creating an awareness and concern for others less fortunate than themselves by raising funds for various charities throughout Malaysia.

Our students have come together to donate their toys and books, and even helped to sell items that had been donated as well as greeting cards and bookmarks featuring their mindmaps during the InsightKIDs Preschool Open Day held recently.

We sincerely hope that you will join us in our attempt to make the future a better place for young ones from all walks of life. Your gift will help to provide children from  various homes throughout Malaysia with much needed necessities that will contribute to their development into well-balanced individuals. Furthermore, the involvement of all our students will serve to develop sensitivity and respect for people of various backgrounds, as well as instill essential character traits to help them on their journey to become the leaders of tomorrow.

During our sessions, we have discussed this project with our students, and highlighting the difficulties faced by others who are less fortunate than us. To further increase their awareness and involvement, we encourage you to involve them in this project as much as possible. This may be carried out by discussing the issue with them; talking to friends and other family members about this project; encouraging them to donate their clothes/toys/books; helping them to make and sell craft items (e.g. bookmarks or greeting cards). This will help them develop values such as empathy, compassion, kindness and gratitude.

Corporate logos will be featured on the MindMap Banner. Please contact us for a copy of the Pledge Form.
