Ranita Rajandram holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Psychology from Endicott College, a Masters in Child Development (concentration in Family Studies) from Elliot Pearson – Child Development Department at Tufts University, MA and a Masters in Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Social and Behavioral Science from Boston University, MA. She is a member of the National Psychology Honors Society. She was also the recipient of the Psychology Award and the one of five students to receive the prestigious President’s Award during her undergraduate studies. Over the eight years she spent in Boston, she worked with children and adolescents in many different settings. As a Resident Assistant for three years, she worked with college students in the areas of counseling, confrontational skills, and mentoring. She was attached with “Stay in Shape”, an educational workshop run by the Massachusetts General Hospital for high school girls, where she conducted sessions on Body Image, Stress, Emotional Intelligence and Social Skills. Her interests lie in the area of counseling and conducting workshops for adolescents on various social and emotional issues.
